Sylvan Spectacles

A set of mid-poly 3D glasses with design inspiration from sylphs and forest faeries. The default colors included in the diffuse can easily be changed, each different-colored part of the model is separated. This model (except for the string) is manifold. The UV is organized into quadrants on a single image.

***HOW TO USE***

This ZIP file contains models and textures in separate folders.

The models marked with 'tri' are triangulated (for use in modding and video games), the others are in quads. OBJ, GLtf and FBX are provided.

The model was not made with printing in mind, but everything except the chain is manifold. If printing, you will need to size and slice it yourself. Each part should be printed separately. The lenses and flowers will need to be attached with adhesive, and there will be small gaps between the frame and lenses. The beads do not have holes, you would need to drill or add them yourself. If there are requests for it, I may publish a print-optimized update.

***TECHNICAL INFORMATION***

Approximately 3800 vertices and 7500 triangles are in the model after splitting.

The default size is about 1m.

The model and textures may not be used in the production of NFTs or used as data points in training a generative AI program.

You may use the product as part of any larger artwork either as-is or edited (such as renders, video games, animations, printed physical goods and educational videos) and display publicly, sell the work commercially, or use in advertising.

You may use it for any private non-commercial purpose such as in game modding, personal 3D art renders,

study or portfolio work as long as the models and textures are not shared or made available to download publicly.

You may commission private edits or conversions of the model & textures. This license does not transfer. Please have your commissioned artist purchase their own copy of the product.
